Design++ Seminar Series Continues
ITA hosts numerous academic talks and events, and that includes the now established Design++ Seminar Series.

Design++ Seminar Series is an important collection of talks on topics of computational tools and processes using AI, ML, and XR. As the spring semester kicks off, so does the new edition of this seminar series. Four exciting guest speakers are lined up.
First, on 3rd April, Dr. Carlotta Daro, Gramazio Kohler Research, ETH Zürich, kicks off with her talk titled “Everything but immersion: on sound and other media.” Find out more about this talk here.
Second talk takes place on 8th May and will be delivered by external page Prof. Dr. Michael Kraus of Technical University of Darmstadt, with his talk titled “StructAIgents – Rethinking structural engineering paradigms in the age of agentic AI.” Find out more about this talk here.
Third, on 15th May, external page Dr. Paula Maya Strunden, from Bauhaus University Weimar, will give a talk titled “Modelling the Unseen – The Future of Spatial Experiences in Extended Reality.” Find out more about this talk here.
Finally, the fourth talk, which takes place on 22nd May, titled “Architectural Machine Intelligence” will be given by Dr. Anton Savov, Senior Researchers at Digital Building Technologies at the Institute of Technology in Architecture ETH Zürich and Deputy Director Design++. The talks take place at the Institute of Technology in Architecture, HIB building, ETH, Hönggerberg campus.
